WHERE IS THIS
EVENT?
The
field is located on Rt. 72 in Rowlesburg,WV next to one of the most
beautiful community parks in this area and along the Cheat River.
The photo shows a view taken across from the field and looking
towards the park with its pavilions, consession stand, restrooms and
playground. Notice how gorgious the flowers and plants look. The
Greater Downtown Rowlesburg organization maintains these gardens
throughout the year.

MEET OUR W.W.II VETERANS
W.W.II
veterans are gathering at the G.P. tent on the field between 1
- 4 pm. This is a great opportunity for you
to talk to the brave men and women who lived through it
all.
All W.W.II
veterans are invited to join this event. Refreshments will be served
to the while they talk to visitors or just reminisce with other
veterans.

The famous band Maestro's of Swing from Pittsburgh, PA will
perform at the Old Rowlesburg High
School.
Bobby Menear is a direct descendent of the Big Band
legendary pioneer Glenn Miller, and loves the music of his
heritage.
